Biology Engages Wikipedia as a Resource

“Most students (and to be honest: so do I), first go to Wikipedia to learn about a new phenomenon.” – Dr. Mark Sarvary
Dr. Sarvary, along with librarians Ashley Downs and Kelee Pacion, together have created a course focused on developing Wikipedia as a true resource. Focusing on the scientific communication process, quality control, and academic integrity, the course educates students through the creation and editing of student selected biology stubs. More information on this course can be found here.
